Base сamp Achyk-Tash
At the foot of Lenin Peak there is a base camp for climbers. Its name is Achyk-Tash. The base camp is open during the warmer months, from June to September.
At the foot of Lenin Peak there is a base camp for climbers. Its name is Achyk-Tash. The base camp is open during the warmer months, from June to September. In fact, Achyk-Tash camp consists of two bases: the base camp at the altitude of 3600 m and the advanced base camp at the altitude of 4200 m.
The camp offers all necessary facilities and amenities for subjugators of mountain tops, tents for accommodation, food item, a small store, a facility for battery charging and refueling gas tanks. The camp is staffed by experienced trainers and medical personnel.
Around the base camp Achyk-Tash there are many corners with beautiful scenery (moraine lakes,the Onion Meadow, Travelers’ Pass), where you can hike to gain strength just before the ascent to Lenin Peak.
