Unexpectedly for us we decided to celebrate New Year in Kyrgyzstan. We passed through Bishkek and went to Issyk-Kul immediately.
Kyrgyzstan is famous for having plenty of high-altitude lakes. Among them you can find the special one, Dead Lake.
Issyk-Kul is a huge lake in the mountains that reminds me of the sea - the smell, the waves, everything.
Not too long ago in June, I paid a visit to my friends in Kyrgyzstan and came back with a collection of wonderful photos of the night sky from my trip.
